MANILA, Philippines – A 3-meter long, 20-kilogram python was caught inside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Saturday.
According to Russel Perez, chief of the Airport Ground Operation and Safety Division, they caught the python along the access road of terminals 2 and 3.
Authorities believe the animal came from the grassy area of the Nayong Pilipino Park.
The python is now under the safekeeping of the Wildlife Rescue Area of the Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau.
Last September 27, another python was also caught near NAIA Terminal 3.
Furthermore, the Philippine Aviation Security Services Corporation personnel caught a 5-feet python last year.
